About LLMA

The Lutheran Lay Ministry Association (LLMA)

exists to support all Lay Ministers who have graduated

from the Lay Ministry program whether degreed or

2017 Goals

1. Continue updating the CUW website and using it to “click” to LLMA pages that include contacts, newsletter and monthly meeting minutes.

2. Develop an LLMA guidebook to help Lay Minister graduates during their first year with mentoring if requested, and to get the word out within our districts that Lay Ministers are commissioned and ready to help with ministry as needed.

3. Continue our presence at various conferences and other opportunities to talk about who we are and what our role is as ministers of religion.

4. Call on Lay Ministers in our districts to let them know LLMA is active and here to support them in whatever ways they need. Primarily with ministry ideas and application, continued education, and in their Christian walk with Bible Studies, etc.
